THE PURCHASE ENABLES SHRIEVE TO OFFER EXPANDED SERVICE OFFERINGS TO CUSTOMERS
Shrieve Chemical Company, an international distributor and manufacturer of industrial chemicals, fluids, and specialty lubricants, announced on June 16 that it has acquired the assets of Independent Contract Packaging (ICP), Conroe, TX. ICP is a leader in small packaging, blending, warehousing and distribution serving some of the world’s leading lubricant, personal care, institutional and petrochemical companies.
Founded in 2004 by Oscar Botello, ICP is known for its safety, quality, and integrity in packaging. The company’s state-of-the-art 50,000 square foot warehouse will remain in Conroe, Texas. Botello will stay with the company as an important addition to the Shrieve team.
The acquisition allows Shrieve to better serve its current and potential clients by expanding its capabilities and streamlining the supply chain inefficiencies of small packaging and blending. ICP will be rebranded as Shrieve Performance Packaging (SPP) and is well positioned to continue its leadership in high quality liquid blending and packaging of lubricants and chemicals.
An ISO 9001 certified facility with 45MM gallon annual capacity. SPP has six production workshops and state-of-the-art high performance filling lines. SPP provides a variety of filling and blending capabilities for package sizes ranging from 1.5-ounce bottles to bulk tankers.
“With the strategic acquisition of ICP, Shrieve can provide a differentiated service to our customers, allowing Shrieve to provide the safest and highest quality packaging services while eliminating a separate step in their supply chain,” said George Fuller, CEO of Shrieve. “We look forward to providing this service to our customers and continuing ICP and Shrieve’s commitment to safety, quality, and customer service.”
