We are proud to announce that Shrieve Senior Application Engineer, Manuel Muñoz Alonso has had his presentation at Congreso Iberoamericano de Aire acondicionado y Refrigeración (the Iberian-American Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Conference) recognised by industry experts and peers.
Shrieve has participated annually in every CIAR Congress since 2011 – excepting the year of the pandemic. Organised by FAIAR, Iberian – American Federation of AC&R Associations, it is held every two years in cities of al Iberian-American countries.
The 2022 CIAR was held in Lisbon earlier this month and promoted technical and scientific knowledge and debate in the fields of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration – with many prominent researchers, academics, and professionals in attendance. Manuel delivered an engaging presentation at one of the conference’s technical sessions – focusing on CO2 refrigeration lubricant options, helping attendees explore the different lubricant options available and the pros and cons of each for different applications.
Following the technical session, attendees were asked to vote on their favourite speakers and lectures, and Manuel was called to receive an award in the final ceremony.
We’re extremely proud of Manuel – who is part of the OEM team and works closely with the technical and commercial Specialty Product teams within Shrieve. Manuel works to gain product approvals and drive projects forward from a technical perspective and is an example of the many talented and knowledgeable people we are lucky enough to have work with the business.
