Biocide Chemistry for Bacteria Control
Contamination from aerobic and/or anaerobic bacteria is a common problem in the oilfield. Biocides are utilized for treatment and prevention of bacteria in stimulation fluids, drilling fluids, workover or completion fluids, water treatment, waterflood, and pipeline or tank maintenance applications. Shrieve offers a variety of biocide products, including: dazomet, glutaraldehyde, glutaraldehyde/quaternary ammonium chloride (glut/quat) blends, and DBNPA.
