Scale Inhibitors
Scale Inhibitors
Scale Control Additives
Scale deposits result from the precipitation of mineral compounds present in water. The factors that contribute to scale formation include pressure changes, temperature changes, variation of flow rates, changes in pH, and mixing of incompatible waters or incompatible additives. Scale inhibitors help to prevent the formation and deposition of scale, while scale dissolvers remove those deposits already formed. Shrieve offers polyacrylate, polymer, and phosphonate-based scale control additives.
